Imaging Manager - Yakima Memorial

About the role

The Manager of Imaging Services oversees the coordination of the overall operations of the assigned Medical Imaging services. This includes ensuring optimal, cost-efficient patient care delivery, defining and monitoring standards of patient care and Medical Imaging practices, and supporting collaboration between Medical Imaging, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor standards of patient care and Medical Imaging practice
• Ensure availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources
• Support collaboration between Medical Imaging, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes
• Interpret information relating to a wide variety of policies, procedures, and programs
• Manage internal and external contacts, including physicians, physician office staff, outside health care providers and organizations, vendors, and management from other health care facilities and agencies
• Oversee 24/7 responsibilities for the service, especially in hospital-based roles with dual matrixed reporting structures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Graduation from an accredited school in an imaging modality
• Master’s degree preferred
• Registry or registry eligibility for ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB and current Washington State Certification if applicable
• Five years progressively responsible work experience, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity

Pay and Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $111,987.20 - $161,158.40 USD. Specific pay is influenced by factors such as skill set, years of experience, and certifications/education.
