About the role
Serves as liaison between the Radiology Department and physician office staff. Facilitates pre-certifications for referring physicians. Coordinates scheduling of exams. Knowledge of Supply Chain policy and procedures. Properly orders, receives and maintains adequate clerical supplies in the department. Maintains radiology scheduling system, responsible for system updates.
Requirements
- Two years prior hospital and/or Imaging related experience preferred with registration processing
- Must be professional and tactful with good judgment in dealing with physicians and their office staff, hospital personnel, visitors and the public
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Communications/Public Relations preferred
- BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) required upon hire
