Imaging Clerk
About the Role
As an Imaging Professional, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will expertly execute diverse specialized imaging procedures, assist physicians, meticulously monitor patients, and precisely operate sophisticated equipment for critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis. A steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork.
- Fills out consent forms for treatment and ensures patient signature on arrival to the department.
- Performs Medical Necessity checks.
- Issues exam preparation materials by checking the schedule module and/or verifying the exam with the technician.
- Notifies ordering providers of required changes based on Radiologist’s Protocols regarding patient’s medical history, medication allergies, and laboratory results.
- Screens physician orders for accuracy and completeness and orders exam(s).
Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Computer experience
- Preferred: Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Preferred: Previous hospital experience

Pay
$20.86 - $29.46 per hour
