ICU Technician - Transplant Unit – FT – Nights
Location: New York, New York – Night shift (11:00 PM – 7:15 AM)
About the Role
As an ICU Technician in the Transplant Unit, you will be an invaluable care provider at the bedside for patients and families. Your role is to bring comfort, calm, and compassion while performing critical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs monitoring, and blood glucose testing. You will collaborate closely with nurses and nursing attendants to uphold excellence in patient care and clinical practices, serving as the eyes and ears of an award-winning nursing department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including comfort and support to patients and families.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs monitoring, and blood glucose testing.
- Assist nurses and nursing attendants in delivering high-quality care.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in high-pressure moments to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain a collaborative and proactive approach to patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of current Nursing Attendant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
- Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician, or Medical Assistant.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) as on-site presence is required.

Pay
Salary Range: $29.93–$32.07 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time night shift: 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM.
