About the role
Provides direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Responsibilities
- Assesses patients' conditions and develops treatment plans.
- Maintains accurate medical records and communicates with other healthcare providers.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitors vital signs and reports changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- BLS certification from a Healthcare Provider.
- AACLS or PALS certification required within six months of hire.
Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of Alabama as an RN.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
