ICU RN - Flexible Shifts

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in ICU and Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patients' conditions and responses to treatments
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
• Educating patients and families about treatment and discharge plans
• Adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

• Flexible scheduling with shifts available for day (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
