Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow infection-control standards.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and compliance with hospital policies and safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia Registered Nurse license.
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months).
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
