Role & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting, including patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation of conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards
- Educate patients and families
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications via the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on the specific assignment
