ICU Nurse (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac patients prior to transfer. Supports patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while developing critical care skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Participates in care planning, education, and communication across care settings, ensuring family-centered care and patient education on illness management. Engages in ongoing professional development and adheres to standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate care plans
• Participate in call shifts, weekend, holiday, and night rotations as required

Qualifications

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
• 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience; critical care experience is a plus
