ICU Clinical Nurse - Nights

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in the ICU, including assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Critical nursing skills are essential to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers. The role requires working in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Use critical thinking to assess patient needs across physical, emotional, and cultural domains.Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.Educate patients and families on health management and post-treatment care.Contribute to a safe, supportive healing environment. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Current RN license.Preferred: ICU experience, BSN degree, and two years of experience.Training in advanced cardiac life support is advantageous.
