ICU Clinical Nurse - Nights

About the role

Provides direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Practice involves primary nursing in a 26‑bed ICU with 24‑hour physician coverage. Critical care training and a focus on compassionate, clinical excellence are essential. The role emphasizes professional development and adherence to safety‑sensitive standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient‑ and family‑centered care
• Educates on illness management
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives
• Develops and communicates individualized care plans
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting cultural and personal values

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
• RN licensure
• ACLS certification
• Preferred: ICU experience
• Preferred: BSN degree
• Preferred: two years of experience
