About the role
Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in a community-based hospital setting, providing direct patient care in a 12-bed medical/surgical ICU unit. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established standards. You will promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the interprofessional team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential. The position requires critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. It is a safety-sensitive role emphasizing alertness and safe practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment needs and medication management
- Participate in safety, quality, and professional development activities
- Maintain documentation and communication across care teams

Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree (RN license required)
- Open to all experience levels, including ADN, BSN, and MSN candidates
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and minimum two years of experience
