About the role
Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in a community-based hospital setting, providing direct patient care in a 12-bed intensive care unit. This safety-sensitive role requires alertness and a commitment to safe patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care aligned with standards and patient needs.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment care.
- Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
- Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- RN licensure required; open to candidates with all experience levels, including new graduates.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience and BSN education.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills necessary.
