ICU Clinical Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, alongside ongoing professional development.Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.Responds to emergency calls and provides specialized critical care services, including post-op cardiothoracic, cardiac, neuro, pulmonary, renal, and medical care. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) license required.Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and ICU experience.ACLS certification and specialized critical care training are highly valued.Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills essential.
