ICT Support Officer
About the Role
You’ll help make a difference as an ICT Support Officer here at our rewarding organisation. This role takes responsibility for delivering support to the Local Authority’s Education Teams in their use of the Education Management Information System - MRI One (formerly Capita ONE). We need you to provide support in the collection and maintenance of school data, working with system users to fix issues, support system upgrades, and setting up new users. Your work will make a valuable contribution to the smooth running of our Education teams here at GCC.

Requirements
- Experience of using or administrating data collection systems
- Ability to support users of the Council’s Education departments
- Team-focused nature to work with Project and Systems Officers on ongoing project work
- Experience providing first-line system support
About You
To be successful, you will have some experience using or administrating data collection systems, using your skills to support users of the Council’s Education departments. We also need your team-focused nature as you work with our Project and Systems Officers to support ongoing project work. Your experience providing first-line system support will help the team focus on achieving outcomes for our customers.

Pay
£30,024 - £32,597 per annum
Schedule
37 hours per week
Additional Information
This is a fixed-term contract for one year. The role is based at Shire Hall, Block 4, 1st Floor, Gloucestershire. The closing date for applications is 05/08/2026. This post is not open to job share. The council is not currently able to offer sponsorship in this role. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for at least 6 months. Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role.
