ICQA Warehouse Lead

About the role

The Warehouse ICQA Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring inventory, safety, productivity, and quality within the Quality Control Department. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this individual collaborates with various departments to maintain efficient warehouse operations and provides guidance and support to team members.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily production needs with Inventory Control Manager and associates throughout each shift.
• Ensure the warehouse is a safe environment, adhering to 5S standards.
• Assign and lead tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Verify all orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
• Assist in providing coaching and training to all associates; identify and discuss mistakes to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Oversee the warehouse area to ensure adequate supplies and materials are available.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 3 - 7 years of Quality and Inventory Control experience.
• Proven ability to effectively lead a team.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with both LTL and UPS shipping.
• Excellent communication, data entry, basic math, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
