Responsibilities
- Manage Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) improvement activities to achieve excellence at the site level.
- Develop and lead the site EHS strategy and improvement plans.
- Drive safety and environment risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls.
- Reduce the site’s environmental impact.
- Lead the EHS Pillar in accordance with Manufacturing Excellence.
- Assess and support deployment of Unilever PSM Program risks and guidelines.
- Influence senior management and drive safety and environmental leadership.
- Maintain site legal compliance and ensure adherence to local/national regulations and Unilever standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks leading to occupational ill health.
- Develop and deploy internal EHS auditing and inspection systems.
- Conduct trend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behavior observations, and deep compliance audits.
- Advise line management in all accident/incident investigations.
- Assist in developing and leading internal crisis committees and safety committees.
- Provide training support and develop training programs.
Qualifications
- University degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
- Advanced degree in Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Sustainability or factory manufacturing leadership experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Health, Safety and/or Environmental in a manufacturing setting.
- Prior Leadership with hourly or salary direct reports experience.
- Project Management exposure.
- Good knowledge of Manufacturing and Process Safety.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. The position is bonus eligible and LTI eligible. Benefits vary by country and are subject to plan terms and eligibility.
