Responsibilities

  • Advise sales organization and customers on the effective use of Siemens products, focusing on Structural Heart and the ACUSON AcuNav Volume ICE catheter.
  • Provide technical and clinical product support to health care providers and laboratory staff for diagnostic catheters and ultrasound systems.
  • Collaborate with Area Directors of Sales, VP of ICE Sales, and ICE Clinical Specialists to achieve clinical and sales objectives.
  • Offer clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and staff on the effective use of AcuNav Volume (ICE) Catheter in cardiac interventional or electrophysiology laboratories.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and maximize customer case support capability through proper planning and scheduling.
  • Stay current on company products, instructions for use, best practices, and technical troubleshooting, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.
  • Respond to requests in a high-stress environment with composure and problem-solving focus.
  • Engage in diagnostic dialogue with multiple internal and external business partners and stakeholders, and formulate solutions based on dialogue and input gained during sessions.
  • Maintain optimal scanning techniques and competitive knowledge through active participation in internal/external trainings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in clinical echocardiography lab with focus on structural heart and 3D/4D imaging.
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, therapeutic and institutional trends.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • Willingness to work in a hospital laboratory setting, attend live patient cases, and wear protective gear (i.e. lead aprons).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work variable hours to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in clinical echocardiography lab with focus on structural heart and 3D/4D imaging or equivalent in industry experience.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work in a hospital laboratory setting, attend live patient cases, and wear protective gear (i.e. lead aprons).

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $107,200 - $147,400 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
