ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for educating and supporting physicians and other hospital personnel on technical matters relating to the correct use of the Delcath HEPZATO KIT System and all aspects of Hepzato.
- Responsible for promoting Hepzato as a technique and HEPZATO KIT as the means of delivering a minimally invasive regional therapy to cancer patients.
- Maintain current knowledge about assigned products and services, as well as complementary therapies and competitive products or disease treatments.
- Responsible for educating local sales and marketing colleagues on product use and its place in oncology centers.
- Responsible for interfacing directly with the field sales organization and Marketing support to ensure that ongoing development requirements are addressed to meet demands of customers.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relevant segments of the database for all customers in the assigned region.
- Works closely with Sales as it relates to the establishment of clinical sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three (3) years clinical specialist experience in the Medical Oncology or interventional device field.
- Effective teaching skills.
- Ability to construct training programs, analyze them and recommend updates.
- Prior experience with Surgical Oncology, Interventional Oncology and sales experience a plus.
- Prior experience training in a new medical product area a plus.
- Preferred experience in the oncology/cancer market segment.
- Must be able to design and implement training plans that are supportive of long term strategic plans.
- Experienced in working across multiple clinical levels, functions and regions.
- Demonstrated people and organizational skills.
- Must be computer literate in MS Office suite, other IT skills a plus.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive travel will be required (85% +), may include weekends.
