IC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Using Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python or TCL scripting to automate design tool processes
• Development of complex tools in languages such as C++
• Debugging tool and design flow related issues for IC designers
• Providing support/training on tools and methodologies to engineers at multiple geographies
• Working directly with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues
• Applying hardware/software skills to create innovative solutions
• Developing documentation and training on custom flows and internal tools
• Understanding and deployment of new and evolving DFT architecture solutions

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Digital Logic Design and Verilog HDL
• Understanding of programming issues such as OO design, memory leaks, data structures, sorting, recursion, stack overflow and greedy algorithms
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
• Understanding of Scan Test architecture and implementation
• Experience with Streaming Scan Networks (a plus)
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and scripting, digital timing analysis, software development tools and revision control systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering and 2+ years of related experience
• Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is USD 74,000.00 To USD 118,800.00
