IBM ODM Developer w/Java

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IBM ODM rule projects, decision tables, decision trees, and business rule flows.
• Translate business requirements into automated decision services using IBM Decision Center and Rule Designer.
• Integrate ODM decision services with Java/J2EE enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop and deploy business rules within Decision Center and Rule Execution Server (RES).
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to define, validate, and implement business rules.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize decision services for performance and scalability.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, source control, and Agile development practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of hands-on IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) experience.
• Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
• Experience with IBM Decision Center, Rule Designer, and Rule Execution Server (RES).
• Experience developing REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, or Google Cloud Spanner.
• Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
