I-Inspector
Summary
An I-Inspector is an experienced and versatile quality assurance inspector responsible for detailed dimensional and visual inspections of critical parts and assemblies, including First Article, in process, incoming raw materials, and final inspection. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, documenting findings, and producing inspection reports. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of quality assurance or inspection experience, and familiarity with aerospace/aviation industry standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years of quality assurance or inspection experience, preferably in aerospace/aviation industry
- Familiarity with source inspection activities is a plus
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms)
- Strong reading and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
Physical Demands
You must be able to move freely around the facility and workstation, stoop, bend, reach, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day. You must also lift and/or move up to 35 pounds quite frequently.
Education and Certifications
- Must possess basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms, etc.
- Must independently select and use appropriate measuring devices for given inspection applications
- Must obtain and maintain various customer and internal certifications
