I&C Engineer
About The Role
As an Engineer I on our Advanced Reactors I&C team, you will support the system development lifecycle for I&C systems based on functional, design, and regulatory requirements. You will report to the Manager of Advanced Reactors I&C and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA facility. You will be required to be on site 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal cross functional groups and stakeholders to ensure quality integration of the I&C system.
- Create functional logic diagrams.
- Support customer offer development for I&C system projects.
- Support Equipment Qualification (EMC, Environmental, Seismic) of an internally developed FPGA-based I&C platform.
- Provide guidance to hardware design engineers to develop the hardware design of the I&C system.
- Provide guidance to software design engineers to develop the software of the I&C system.
- Develop test plan and procedure documentation; execute testing based on project needs.
- Understand equipment qualification standards and interface with equipment qualification groups for qualification of the I&C system.
- Aid in engineering review of system documentation.
- Aid in board-level design, functional testing, and integration testing.
- Aid in application development based on system functional and design requirements specifications.
Qualifications
- Completion of bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards, Analog/Digital Circuit Design, and FPGA technology.
- Knowledge of Labview, C++, Java, Python, embedded software.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400.00 to $73,000.00 per year.
