I&C Engineer
Responsibilities
- Conduct design calculations and develop engineering packages.
- Support project execution across multiple client engagements.
- Work on power systems design, including one-line diagrams, load lists, and panel schedules.
- Develop electrical design packages and handle cable schedules, conduit layouts, grounding, lighting plans, and equipment specifications.
- Engage in integrity work including cathodic protection, AC mitigation, and O&M planning.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and API standards.
Essential Skills
- 6-10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with flexibility for strong candidates with less experience.
- Strong understanding of oil & gas design standards and field applications.
- Experience in power systems and I&C design.
- Familiarity with codes and standards such as NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and API.
- Experience with cathodic protection, ETAP, symmetry, and XGSlabs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- EIT certification preferred (PE not required).
- ABET-accredited engineering degree.
- Experience supporting mid-size projects across multiple clients.
- Ability to contribute technically and grow into lead or project management roles.
Work Environment
This role offers flexibility to work from Colorado Springs or Albuquerque with approximately 50% travel depending on project requirements. You will work in a small team with high visibility and diverse project exposure across clients.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $60.00/hr.
