Responsibilities
- Safety is E2 Optics' top priority. Follow all safety guidelines and company/client policies.
- Prepare complete cost estimates for projects, monitor progress, and prepare change orders.
- Review and analyze contract documents and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Develop and maintain accurate estimates, ensuring all details are included and communicated effectively.
- Work closely with the sales development and project management teams to create logistics, schedules, and execution plans.
- Ensure bid validity and address price escalation issues to meet project needs.
- Maintain data in E2 Optics systems and provide support for estimating efforts across multiple offices.
- Read and understand blueprints, and assist in preparing final bid documents.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in estimating large-scale hyper-scale data center projects, including mission-critical data centers and colocation facilities.
- Structured cabling/low voltage industry experience.
- Experience with Bluebeam and proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM360.
- Proven understanding of the hyperscale market, including variations in design between major hyperscale customer infrastructure platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
- Excellent problem-solving, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
Qualifications

- Structured cabling/low voltage industry experience.
- Bluebeam expertise and proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM360.
- Understanding of the hyperscale market and its variations.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
- Proven problem-solving, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
- Independent work ability and strong multitasking skills.

Pay

Schedule
Standard work hours are typically 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
