Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CAD drafting/design experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• An attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• A positive attitude.
• The ability to legally work in the United States.

Desired Skills/Software Capabilities

• Experience with hydrographic, survey, or civil engineering projects.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Carlson Survey Software
• NYSDOT CAD Standards
• USACOE Standards
• HYPACK / HYSWEEP
• SonarWiz
• GIS software experience
• Survey and hydrographic data processing experience
• Familiarity with point clouds, terrain models, and surface generation
• A basic understanding of survey coordinate systems and mapping standards
• The ability to support occasional field assignments or hydrographic survey operations as needed
• Comfortable on and around water and boats
