About the role
Tramec Sloan is currently seeking a Hydromat Technician / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Galion, Ohio.
Shift
3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday 10-pm - 6:00am but hours could vary
MUST train on first shift
Essential Job Functions
- Set up legacy Hydromat rotary transfer machines according to job specifications and engineering drawings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor machine and line performance to ensure quality and consistency.
- Work with operators to increase product and machine knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance on Hydromat machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Replace or repair machine parts as needed.
- Installs, replaces, or changes machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Technical training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Hydromat machines in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Communication, Organizing, and leadership skills is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must train on first shift.
- Pay based on experience with shift premium.

Working Conditions
