Water/Wastewater CAD Technician

About the role

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a CADD Technician to support our team in Salina. This position will focus on design of linear utilities, pump stations, and treatment plants for water and wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Working within Autodesk Civil 3D following internal or client driven CADD standards.
• Coinciding with design engineers to develop accurate construction drawings.
• Adhering to a specific quality control procedures.
• Developing design drawings utilizing engineering sketches.
• Completing work according to standard engineering principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system procedures.
• Create and document concepts, sketches, models, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete design packages.
• Capable of designing with minimum direction.
• Perform design calculations, reports, and construction documents.

Requirements

• 2 – 6 Years of Experience or an associate’s degree + 4 years’ experience.
• Autodesk Civil 3D proficiency.
• Proficiency Microsoft office, and other computer applications and design software.

Qualifications

Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $83,000
