About the Role

The Test Technician will test and evaluate incoming assemblies (Spool and Sleeve Assemblies), determine the extent of necessary repairs, and complete final testing of lap assemblies. The role requires familiarity with flow grinding parts, using grinding tools for modifying laps, and final testing.

Responsibilities

  • Measure flows, leakage, and force, and record or plot results.
  • Lap fit and adjust clearance, hone to specifications, and measure clearances using micrometers, micro-caters, calipers, and other measuring devices.
  • Follow instructions, assemble parts, and work with O-rings and specialty seals.
  • Interface with managers, engineering, supervisors, and all employees.
  • Take initiative to improve processes and complete additional duties as assigned.
