Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor onsite activities for projects across multiple disciplines and companies
- Act as an inspector on job sites following contract and project guidelines
- Perform standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations
- Initiate action as needed to ensure projects follow contract and compliance obligations
- Conduct standardized tests for multiple projects and report out on results to project teams
- Gather and maintain data including testing results and drawings
- Schedule and attend job meetings
- Assemble and distribute meeting minutes
- Provide support to the Project Team to help ensure those project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering is preferred
- 0-4 years of experience, preferably in engineering, project or construction management; transportation and construction industries preferred
- IDOT Doc Control certification is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office suite is required
- Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD and project management software (eBuilder/Procore) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work and communicate effectively in a team environment, and meet deadlines

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Primarily onsite and hands-on with work locations varying based on project assignments. Some project design support may be required to support projects across our Engineering team.
