Job Summary
Bern’s Steak House is seeking HVAC technicians to join their maintenance team. Responsibilities include working on-site at multiple facilities, performing maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems, and other miscellaneous tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
- First shift and some weekends, with various on-call hours
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Run and repair high-volume equipment such as HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Install and replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits, rooftop package units
- Work effectively with a small team
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Routine cleaning
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 5 years of HVAC experience
- Knowledge of refrigeration function and theory, ability to diagnose and replace HVAC components
- EPA Certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic tool set: wrenches, screwdrivers, sheet metal/duct tools, hammer
- Follow sanitation policies and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask and work quickly in a high-volume setting
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in a diverse environment
