Hamley Steakhouse Maintenance Technician

Wage range: $15.00–$18.00 per hour. Position remains open until filled; first application review date is August 7, 2026.

About the role

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including interior janitorial work, minor repairs, maintenance, and outdoor parking and walkway areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Collect and properly dispose of all trash from both the facility and the grounds.
• Perform janitorial duties, including sanitizing, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, and dusting.
• Use chemical cleaners and supplies safely and healthfully to protect self, other employees, and customers.
• Assist with major cleaning duties such as carpets, filters, cleaning of machinery, furniture, and painting.
• Perform daily inspection of light bulbs and replace them as necessary.
• Provide physical setup for special events or activities, including lifting and maneuvering bulky and heavy items.
• Routinely clean authorized employee access areas.
• Stock and supply various custodial areas.
• Greet and acknowledge customers encountered, providing informational assistance as needed.
• Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests; promptly report all concerns to Supervisor.
• Adhere to established federal, state, and tribal health and safety codes/standards.
• Comply with regulatory laws, Hamley’s Team Member Handbook, department policies and procedures, and safety codes.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with various cleaning equipment and materials.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to read and follow directions on equipment, cleaning chemicals, and instructions.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift, and maneuver heavy items while working in a noisy environment and perform repetitive actions with arms, wrists, and hands.
• Exhibit a professional demeanor through appearance and maintain a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
• Pass a criminal history background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience in maintenance, repair, and equipment operation.
• Previous experience or training in chemical and sanitation awareness.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Pay

$15.00–$18.00 per hour.
