HVAC Technician

This role involves servicing and maintaining HVAC systems for rental service customers in various commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems in a commercial setting.
• Utilize knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
• Communicate with customers and project managers regarding inspection/service findings.
• Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair units using cutting-edge software and technology, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
• Maintain safety and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
• Work overtime and overnight shifts as required by the business.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand-held computers (e.g., Smartphone, iPad).
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).

Qualifications

• Passing drug screening may be required for certain roles.

Skills

• Commercial HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office software and hand-held computers.
• Preferred EPA Certification.

Annual Base Salary Range: $31.27 - $42.14
