HVAC Tech II

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and strictly follows safety protocols using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborates with personnel regarding work orders, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeping tools and vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Dedicates 20% of the role to participating in meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Licensed EPA Certification (level II preferred)
• Must have one or more of the following: High school diploma or equivalent, Graduate of trade school.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
