Work Schedule: 100%, days. Hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Be part of something remarkable. Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Specialist to troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and modify HVAC control systems (pneumatic, electric, and electronic equipment).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and modify HVAC control systems (pneumatic, electric, and electronic equipment).
- Read printouts and interpret the information provided to make changes to the computer programs which control the operation of fans, chillers, pumps, dampers, and controls.
- Train operators on workstation procedures used to monitor and control the facility.
- Maintain records and written documentation associated with codes of all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or GED Required
Work Experience
- 2 years Previous Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Building Automation System controls experience or combination of formal training and experience. Required
- 2 years Experience working in a healthcare environment with specialized requirements (operating rooms, airborne isolation rooms, protective environment rooms etc.) Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- BOC (Building Operator Certification), or American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineer (ASHRAE) or Operations & Performance (O&P) Management Certification or equivalent to the above Preferred
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification Preferred
- Valid Driver's License Required
