HVAC Service Technician - Multifamily & Boilers Experience

About the role

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be the face of our company and have a significant impact on our customers' experiences. Your expertise in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems (including Commercial Systems such as PTACs, VTACs, Mini Split, RTUs, and Boilers) will ensure that residential and commercial clients enjoy optimal comfort and efficiency. You will work independently and with a team, handling various service requests while upholding our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests on HVAC equipment to identify operational issues
• Conduct repairs, routine maintenance, and installations on heating and cooling systems
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their HVAC systems and service progress
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs completed
• Comply with safety protocols and local codes while executing service work
• Keep abreast of current industry technical developments and advancements
• Exemplify and promote the Dave Jones culture and hold team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements

Requirements

• Valid HVAC Certification or License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair
• Experience with PTACs, VTACs, Mini Split, RTUs, and Boilers
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, and repairs
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service
• Ability to lift above 50 lbs regularly
• Physical ability to perform walking, lifting, twisting, climbing ladders, and other tasks for 90% of your day

Pay

Hourly wage is set between $38.00 and $44.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• On-call availability for emergency service calls
