Critical Functions
- Start-up, commission, and support Building Management Systems (BMS) on equipment we represent
- Perform factory start-up, commissioning, and warranty service on Data Center equipment and systems we represent
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspections on equipment to ensure peak performance
- Interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
- Represent the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors, and owners
- Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customers
- Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Submit required paperwork to Data Mission Critical Administrator in a timely manner
- Work in a safe manner daily and ensure that all safety measures are always taken
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks of the dedicated equipment on site
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 3-5+ years’ experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel substantially within operational region
- A flexible schedule may be required
- Willingness to work in adverse working conditions

- Driven with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Effectively communicate and properly describe problems and solutions
- Demonstrated technical skills to explain product functionality to customers
- Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficient computer skills, such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to produce clear, timely, and concise documentation and have well-developed problem-solving skills
Environmental Requirements
- Will be required to work in a field environment, report to and from the same site daily

- Regularly use hands to operate computer keyboard
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting
- Continually climb or balance and stoop, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds
