HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
• Service rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, boilers, VAV systems, and commercial controls
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
• Complete equipment start-ups, operational testing, and performance verification
• Install and replace commercial HVAC equipment and components as needed
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and control-related issues
• Complete service documentation accurately and communicate findings with customers and office staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment while representing JL Anderson in the field

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls, schematics, and commercial HVAC equipment
• EPA Universal Certification required
• NATE Certification is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, in mechanical rooms, and other commercial environments
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering excellent customer service

• $35.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience
• Annual earning potential of $78,000 to $90,000+ with overtime opportunities during peak seasons
