About the role
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems
- Install new HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance checks
- Communicate with clients regarding service needs and progress
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
