The purpose of your role
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment. Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Work some evenings and weekends (on-call rotation)
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Three or more years as a Service Technician in HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience making repair and replace decisions to forward to sales team
- Advanced customer service skills
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers is a plus
