About the role
The purpose of your role as an HVAC Service Technician is to repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment. Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance. Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities
- Work some evenings and weekends (on-call rotation)
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers and office team regarding work needed or performed
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record that meets company standards
- 3+ years as a Service Technician in HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience making repair and replace decisions to forward to sales team
- Advanced customer service skills
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers is a plus
