HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking an HVAC Service Technician with an RJ2 license to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate commercial HVAC systems for our Pawtucket, Rhode Island Operations Group.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
• Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the Clean Air Act and Occupational Safety Regulations mandated by federal, state, and local governments.
• Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
• Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RJ2 license.
• EPA 608 Universal required.
• Commercial HVAC systems experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

• Regularly walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequent lifting and setting up and climbing ladders as well as stairways.
• Occasional lifting of 51-100 lbs., and rarely lifting more than 101 lbs.
