HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC systems including but not limited to ductwork, compressors, and thermostats.
• Install new HVAC equipment as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or installation.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and climbing.

Skills

• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience.
