HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all HVAC equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and/or repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Pay
