About the role
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and resolve issues efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and/or repair
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
Skills
- Proficient in HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledgeable about HVAC system components and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
