HVAC Service Manager - Lead Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Serve as the department's primary technical resource
• Conduct ride-alongs, provide coaching and training, perform quality control inspections
• Aid in hiring and technician development
• Support dispatch and office staff with technical questions
• Resolve customer concerns
• Monitor KPIs and department performance
• Ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Trade school graduate and EPA certification
• 5+ years of residential and light commercial HVAC experience
• Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
• Understanding of current regulations within the field
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the role
• Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to be on call for troubleshooting support of other technicians

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work an after-hours on-call rotation of approximately one week per month
• Ongoing remote technician support to field technicians

Schedule

• Full-time position serving customers exclusively throughout Montgomery and Walker Counties
• After-hours on-call rotation of approximately one week per month
