HVAC Service Foreman

About the role

The HVAC Foreman leads daily operations in the HVAC manufacturing department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of custom commercial HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication, assembly, and testing activities
• Enforce safety policies and quality standards
• Manage staffing and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Review mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for accuracy and compliance with specifications and customer requirements

Requirements

• Technical degree in HVAC or related fields
• Extensive HVAC industry experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment

Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (air handling units, ventilation, coils, fans, controls)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with manufacturing systems or ERP tools
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting
• Team management and adherence to safety and quality standards

• Standing for long periods
• Lifting, climbing ladders, and manual handling of materials
