Position Summary

The HVAC Service Coordinator serves as the central point of communication between customers, service technicians, and management. This position is responsible for scheduling service calls, dispatching technicians, managing customer communications, and ensuring work orders are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians based on priority, location, and technician availability.
• Manage service work orders and open tasks.
• Cook up emergency service requests and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain technician progress throughout the day.
• Order parts and coordinate deliveries when necessary.
• Manage completed work orders, invoices, and warranty documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the service management system.
• Collaborate with the service manager to improve scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software is beneficial.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is important.
