Service Coordinator (HVAC Dispatch)

About the role

Cockeysville, MD | Full-Time | Commercial & Industrial HVAC Help Keep Our Service Team Running. Walton & Company is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to support our growing Commercial HVAC Service Department in Cockeysville, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians for commercial and industrial service calls
• Coordinate daily technician schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing appointment updates and service communication
• Prioritize emergency service requests and coordinate rapid response
• Communicate job details, schedules, and changes with technicians throughout the day
• Maintain accurate service records, schedules, and customer information
• Cookordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure parts and materials are available when needed
• Aid with inventory management of technician air filters and warehouse supplies
• Work closely with the Service Manager and field team to keep daily operations running efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of dispatch or service coordination experience, preferably in commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or another skilled trades environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using dispatch, scheduling, or service management software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable transportation
