About the role

Location: Braintree, MA – Onsite

Responsibilities

• Lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and in person with daily customer interaction
• Support the internal sales team by providing technical assistance, researching product options, processing orders, answering product and service questions, administering warranties, and resolving customer complaints
• Research competitive information to competitively price inventory while maintaining profit margins
• Create a comprehensive marketing strategy for the direct sales parts office and determine efficient avenues to achieve or exceed revenue goals
• Drive customer policy enhancements based on need and make exceptions to policies where appropriate
• Grow the current customer base by increasing the number of customers
• Pursue new strategies to increase total store sales through both current and new customers
• Make regular sales calls to customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 4+ years of parts store experience or a combination of education and experience
• Experience with HVAC counter sales (Preferred)
• Forklift Certification (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated initiative and a solid work ethic

Pay

The typical starting salary for this position ranges from $38.08 - $62.69 per hour plus a targeted sales incentive plan in Massachusetts. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade. Individual base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
